1. Choose a loop with clear motion
The strongest ASCII GIFs have one dominant action. Fast cuts, flashing overlays and compression artifacts tend to produce flicker rather than readable movement.
2. Keep the subject large
Small subjects disappear quickly when converted into characters. Crop around the action if possible, especially for reactions, gestures and UI motion.
3. Tune before exporting
Preview the loop after changing density or color. Watch for frames where the subject drops out, then simplify the render until the weakest frame still reads.
4. Pick HTML or GIF output
HTML keeps the result web-native and easy to embed. GIF is useful when you need a single portable animation file.
